- We confirm the utility name and whether your territory and customer class allow supplier choice.
- If choice is available, we outline comparable supply structures—not a guaranteed lower rate.
- If choice is not available, we say so and point you to bill and efficiency guidance instead.
Eligibility
Retail choice depends on state rules, the utility printed on your bill, rate class, meter type, and sometimes load size. Municipal utilities, many cooperatives, and capped programs (for example Michigan electric choice) may not allow a new supplier. Switching supply does not change who delivers energy or who responds to outages.
Privacy
